An Evening with Nick Symmonds

On Monday, September, 15th, the Mohawks were invited to attend and evening with Nick Symmonds at Marathon Sports in Mansfield. Nick is an American middle distance runner who has competed in the Olympic games (Beijing and London) and won the silver medal for the 800M during the 2013 World Championships.

Nick talked with the athletes about his running career, his sponsorship with Brooks and about issue that he is passionate about. Nick also offered a Q&A session where the crowd could ask him about anything. He discussed his book that was recently released titled, Life Outside the Oval Office, and encouraged his followers to read it to delve a little deeper into his running career. At the end of the event all athletes had the opportunity to meet nick, have their pictures taken and get autographs. What a great event!
